Following the overwhelming response to our previous workshops, SAMBIESTA's Public Workshop returns for its 5th edition! Whether you're a complete beginner or simply looking to try something new, this is your chance to discover the energy of samba percussion and experience the joy of making music together.
Across five Saturday sessions, you'll learn authentic samba rhythms, play Brazilian percussion instruments, and become part of a vibrant percussion ensemble. No musical background is required - just bring your enthusiasm!

For the first time ever, we're presenting a dedicated Friends of SAMBIESTA (FOS) Showcase on 20 September 2026 - a special stage created exclusively for our workshop participants. It's a celebration of your five-week journey, giving you the opportunity to take centre stage and share everything you've learnt with family, friends and fellow supporters.

Workshop Fee

Who Can Join?
The workshop is open to everyone aged 13 years and above, with no prior musical experience required. Participants aged 12 and below are welcome to join with the supervision of a parent or guardian throughout the workshop. While we strive to provide a safe and enjoyable learning environment, SAMBIESTA will not be liable for any incidents or issues arising during the workshop sessions.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellations made less than one week before the commencement of the first workshop session (22 August 2026) will not be accepted, and workshop fees are non-refundable from that point onwards.
