Clara Tan CL
Clara picked up her first percussive instrument in 2007 when she joined Samba Masala.
As part of the auxiliary section, she played the Agogo Bell and eventually learnt to play the Chocalho. In 2008, Clara was given the opportunity to play on the international stage at Samba festivals in Ireland and London.
The pulsating beats and driving rhythms fuels her passion to perform in a Samba band. Joining Sambiesta has provided her an avenue to continue pursing her interest in the genre. Today, Clara plays the Timbau for Sambiesta.
